Garden of the Gods, Colorado

You've probably already read a bit about James and my road trip to Colorado, but here's another unique stop along the way.

Garden of the Gods in Colorado is a fun stop and great hiking for all ages. It is family and pet friendly with a mixture of wide paved and dirt paths. You can enjoy a scenic drive or pull off in designated parking lots to explore a little more.

A fun part about this park is that there is a map with each rock formation and you can read along as you go about them.

For example, one of the formations is called kissing camels. Can you spot it in the picture below? It takes a second to find, but it is on the top left where the two small rocks almost balance against one another. Pretty neat!

Although this was a very quick stop for us, we did a bit of hiking and climbed up on rocks too. Going in August, it was very busy but worth the stop.

Here are some more pictures of the Garden of the Gods, enjoy!
